I hate to obsess over this BUT
can I just say I really dont think this is coxsackie....
He has no fever- no blisters in his mouth (aside from the one on his lip) and he is acting and eating just fine!!!
I just changed him and noticed more blisters under his knees and arm pits- (classic chicken pox symtom)
Something just isnt sitting right for me!

maybe he has the chicken pox.. kids can still get it even though they got the vaccine. I would check with people you have been around if they have had chicken pox or shingles...

He hasnt had the vaccine yet (actually that is supposed to be his next shot)
I asked my Dr when we were there if it looked like chicken pox- his response was not yet- and that he truely believe because of the thing on his lip- it was coxsackie-

I read a lot on chicken pox and questioned the he!! out of my pedi when Andrew got his chicken pox vaccine. If it were chicken pox, they almost always start as a rash on their upper torso. Like you would see fever blisters on the chest and neck area. Does he have any spots there?

nope it started on his inner thighs- to over his legs then to feet now under armpits and knees... few on his belly (lower)

Did the doctor actually see him or did they diagnose over the phone? I would definitely ask to bring him in.

when Antonio had coxsakie he had no fever just small pimples "bug like" on his thighs and one on his cheek

can you take a picture. there is a definite difference in the apperance of coxsaxie and chicken pox. either way. i wish a speedy speedy recovery to the lil man

Yeah if you can post pictures. Maybe some BTDT chicken pox moms can help. I am sure hoping it's not though.

He isnt itching them at all...
He is drooling alot so maybe it is coxsackie-
I dont know- whatever it is total stinks!
I tried taking pics- he wouldnt sit still...
Now if i could only get him to take a nap- then maybe I could get some pics!

I thought chicken pox started on the abdomen.
If it's in his creases maybe it's just a heat rash/irritation?
