Frustrated with Shutterfly
Has anyone else had issues with Shutterfly lately?
Long story short, I had ordered calendars for my parents, FIL and MIL like I do each year, and my MIL's calendar arrived with the incorrect event dates (dates were fine on my end- for some reason it was pulling the events from the other two calendars). I called customer service and got a reprint- it came yesterday in the mail with the same issue. They are sending it to me again a 3rd time, but if it's still wrong I am def not getting a 4th one- I guess my MIL will have to deal with white out in her calendar.
Next year I think I will use Snapfish.

ugh that is so annoying. I haven't received my orders yet. I placed them a week ago and of course the estimated delivery date is right before Christmas. I guess I'll be sending out my cards super late. I was on their FB page (looking for coupon codes and freebies lol) and saw a lot of complaints about misprints on envelopes and gifts. It seems like a lot of people are having problems with them this year.
I think next year I'll try somewhere else too. I like to send my cards out early. We even did our holiday portraits early this year to make sure I'd have them in time to do cards. I didn't want to pay a ton for expedited shipping though.

A magnet that I ordered did not arrive but all of my other things did with no issue. I called yesterday and they are sending out another one. Hope I get it this time! I will say customer service with them is very good.

Frustrated with Shutterfly
I ordered ornament Christmas cards like I do every year paid for the upgraded shipping, and they did not send the ribbons to hang the ornament cards. So I called the lady arguing with me so they don't come with them. I told her it says they do right on the website and I've always received them. So it was going to be another week before I actually got the ribbon in the mail so I told them that my order is incomplete, I paid for expedited shipping, and that is unacceptable and I would like a refund. So they refunded me my whole $60, so I bought the darn ribbon and cut it myself. It would have been cheaper for them to just overnight my ribbon!

Sorry I'm voice texting so there are typos LOL. If you order from them, absolutely do not use the economy shipping though. They send that through SmartPost and it takes forever to get!

I'm shocked to hear that about Shutterfly. Usually they are pretty good with fixing things. Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with them!

Hmm. That's good to know that you got the refund. If I get this calendar back a 3rd time with errors then I'll def see if I can get one.

I ordered ornaments and plaques on snapfish since it was 70 percent off on Black Friday. I’ve always used Shutterfly.
The snapfish quality is horrific. I will never use them again. I’m going to keep my stuff because it’s too late but lesson learned. The photos are fuzzy and the embellishments on the plaques look like 1980s quality graphics. I know my photos aren’t fuzzy/grainy as I had prints done from Mpix and they were great.
Calling this out as warning to opening poster who mentioned using them next year. I think Mpix is the best quality.

i use mixbook and LOVE it!
I only had a mistake once on a photo album. It came with the right cover, but wrong pictures inside. I emailed them and explained it was for my son's first birthday and time sensitive. They apologized, fixed it, and had to me in a few days!
We get our calendars there each year. Right now 12X12 calendars are only $12.00 each. And they have some cute layouts.
We ordered DSs communion invitations there too and they came out great.
I highly recommend them!

Frustrated with Shutterfly
I got a metal ornament from them that came out terrible. In the pic dd was wearing a dark headband, but the ink ran and it ended up looked like she had black gunk all over her head instead of a headband. I sent them a message with a pic of the mistake, and they gave me a code to get a new ornament for free. They did not include a code to have it shipped for free, and I didn't think I should have to pay to have the replacement shipped, so I wrote back saying that. And they gave me a free shipping code. The new ornament came out much better, but I did end up choosing a different photo for it.
