I eat paleo for the most part - no gluten, soy, sugar, dairy. That being said I have an ice cream addiction I can't seem to break. I try to keep coconut milk ice cream (Luna and Larry's is amazing!) but I totally hit carvel when the craving strikes (and it's on the way home from the gym which helps me justify it ;)
My diet is pretty much the same everyday with cheats on the weekend. Bfast - steel cut oatmeal or paleo pancakes (banana, egg, almond butter, flaxseed); bacon and eggs on the weekend Lunch - salad with grilled chicken, avocado, carrots, egg whites, almonds Dinner - grilled lean meat, broccoli/brussel sprouts, quinoa/cauliflower mashed/yucca Snack - RX bars
Once you get used to eating that way, it almost becomes second nature. And when I indulge in anything with gluten I feel like crap and look so bloated.
I track on myfitness pal, mostly to stay within my macros and track my protein intake.
ETA: on the bacon topic, most bacon contains sugar. You can find bacon without that and the preservatives but it's not easy to find!
