Birthday Dinner Restaurant for 8 year old girls
Hi, I am in on the south shore in western Suffolk. Instead of going the usual birthday party route, I was thinking of taking DD out with her friends for dinner. Does anyone know of a cool place for them? I know there are some places with the crazy shakes...are any nearby and good?

Coyle's Ice Cream Parlor in Islip is a fun 1950s style place for ice cream and shakes...but no dinner.
Girls that age usually love a hibachi dinner, like Kumo in Bay Shore? But no shakes...

I’d also recommend hibachi. Entertaining and tasty. We did that for my daughters 7th bday and all of the girls loved it.
