Disney itinerary
A few questions for the experts. This is our first trip with kids age 5 and 3. We booked an AOA suite for 6 nights. 4 day park hopper plus one pool day in middle. Daughter is into princesses. Son is into dinosaurs and Mickey. Daughter really isn't into rides.
Arrival Day Booked chef mickeys dinner since no park tix
Day 1 MK Booked CRT lunch Considering nap at hotel and then Epcot for dinner. Coral Reef. Q: is that too much in one day?
Day 2 Animal Kingdom Q: that park seems huge. Should we plan an early night at hotel ? Is Epcot better this night vs day 1
Day 3 Pool day. Will try for TRex for dinner
Day 4 Epcot
Day 5 MK. Will try for Be Our Guest
Is Hollywood Studios worth a half day? It seems small and only a few attractions with not great counter service food. Should we do 1/2 day morning here on day 4
I think the kids will want an afternoon rest but concerned the traveling to/from will eat up a lot of time.
Other ideas?
It seems MK has the most attractions for us, do you think we have enough time there?
Another question - can you buy a case of bottled water at AOA? My husband drinks so much its insane

MK has WAY more to do than AK, so I would definitely do a full day there the first day. We went to AK last month and it's not a big park, and if your daughter doesn't like rides then that cancels out a lot of the "waiting" stuff to do there. Although, the MK is tons of rides, so I guess only you would know what would appeal to your kids. My kids love rides, and we do MK at least twice when we stay for a few days.
I personally would skip HS....they have closed so much there, not worth it IMO unless you are going after Toy Story land opens.
I would use Amazon Prime Now and order a case of water. They delivery it within like 2 hours (along with other grocery items). Water is $3.50 a bottle or something like that at WDW.

Re: Disney itinerary
For Day 1, I would just cover everything in Fantasyland since you're eating at CRT. Then I'd probably call it a day and spend some time at the hotel. You could also just play it by ear and see if you make it to Epcot.
For Day 2, AK is not as bad as it might seem. Definitely try to hit the Safari and the Lion King show. Also, this is the only place where Minnie and Mickey meet together in one pic, so try to hit that. And don't forget the dino area, definitely hit the Boneyard playground.
For Day 3, if you're having trouble getting a TRex ressie call the restaurant directly. You can almost always get one no problem. They only release a few to Disney. Leave some time to check out the World of Disney store and Once Upon a Toy.
For Day 4, I would save your Coral Reef res for this day and do it as lunch.
For Day 5, check out the other lands in MK. Be sure to meet talking Mickey on Main street.
I agree to skip HS this go around.
Also, on your arrival day what time to you arrive? It's a long trek over to Contemporary for dinner and you may all be tired from traveling.
Since you're at AoA, if you want to change things up a bit walk over the bridge to the Pop Century and check out the fun theming. You can also eat in the food court there. They have different selections than AoA.
And last, I would use garden grocer for water, snacks and breakfast food. The food court at AoA for breakfast is absolute mayhem and imo best avoided with small children.

Re: Disney itinerary
I think your first day is too much. I’d cancel coral reef dinner and just stick with MK... Otherwise sounds good. Interestingly, MK has lots of water fountains. I’d bring a refillable water bottle and go at it!

Re: Disney itinerary
I would consider getting extra day ticket and skip park hopper (I think would be significantly cheaper), maybe you can hit up something on first day.

I agree - or for a little bit on the pool day.
The hopper is a lot considering you are only planning on "hopping" once.

Re: Disney itinerary
Thank you all so much.
I'm not a Disney person and my husband isn't involved with this so I'm finding it very overwhelming!
I canceled coral reef on day 1. We will try staying at MK all day and see how it goes.
Will think about the hopper. Especially if HS is off the table, there's not much hopping going on.

I'd definitely skip going to Coral reef, I think hopping parks with young kids is hard and really there isn't much payoff.
The other thing, our trip is a bit longer, so it might not be the case for you. However, additional days of admission are really cheap once you get past a certain amount. I think on ours its like $10 a day. I'd consider getting a ticket for day 1 and going to MK to cover some stuff then head over to Chef Mickey's, it an be a walk from MK.
We did HS last trip, we went for more days. I liked it for the star wars stuff, tower of terror and a few other things. it is definitely a half day park, and my son and wife wasn't as thrilled with it. He is more into star wars now.. so maybe this year we will do Jedi training.
We stayed in one of the rooms with a full kitchen and got food/water delivered from Amazon. it was very convenient, however, Disney charges $5 a box delivered... amazon likes to send multiple boxes... We brought a small soft-sided cooler to the park (in the stroller) with water every day.

Amazon Prime Now is a personal delivery service. It's not the same as Amazon Prime shipping. So no multiple boxes, fortunately!
