Another Wedding Gift Q but with a twist
About 10 years ago, DH and I got married and his brother did not give us anything. We were all young and broke and we really didn't care. This brother got married a year later and had a destination wedding. We paid for flights and hotels (which were expensive because it was international) but did not actually give a gift to the couple.
Flash forward to now, brother is divorced and engaged to someone new. Do we give a gift as a "regular" wedding or just keep not exchanging. We do not exchange gifts as adults only birthday and Christmas for the kids.

If they are hosting at a restaurant /hall I would probably say give them a gift and chalk it up to the expense of a night out.

I would give a gift. If they have a registry, I’d pick something from that.

Give a registry gift
Next time he gets married, don’t get him anything

This. It would seem a little tit for tat to consider what was done when you were all young 10 years ago.

This. Plus, I've never as an adult exchanged christmas or bday gifts with my cousins but I still gave each of them a wedding gift (money) when they got married and same them to me.

Same. I'd probably give a registry gift or a check if they aren't registered.

I would give a gift. His previous marriage has nothingto do with his new one, so I think a gift to congratulate the new couple would be in good taste, especially since he's your dhs brother, and I'm assuming you're in a better financial situation than you all were 10 years ago.
