Asking here because it gets more views Tylenol and fever for older kids?
If your child is 10 and weighs 100 lbs they are over the weight estimate of 95 lbs for children's chewable Tylenol which is for ages six to 11. He is five foot one inches tall. What is the next level of Tylenol for your child to take when they have a fever?

That's about 10 lbs less than I was before I was fat and I'm 5'1. So I would say a regular adult dose.

At that age I was taking an adult dose. If he's not taking it all the time it would be fine.

I'm not sure how but if I came off that way I apologize. I just meant that I thought a child that size would take an adult dose.

Just read this thread and I took it as her calling herself "fat" She said she used to weigh 10 lbs more than your son at 5 foot 1 before she "got fat". I took it as she weighs more than that now but back in the "good old skinny days" she weighed that I didn't' read it as her calling your son fat at all.

That is an adult height and weight, so I would give him the adult dose. And before you go off in a tizzy again, for comparison, I am 5'3 and 115 and take an adult dose of medications.

Omg no no NO! I used to be 110lbs, for years. So I was 10lbs HEAVIER than your son and thought I was thin. I'm the fatty, NOT your son!!!! He's not fat! I just meant that when I used to be 110lbs (ie thin) I took adult doses of meds, I meant it as a comparison.
