Question about ham
Please don't make fun of my ignorance! DH and I are in the mood for a baked ham, like the spiral one you have for the holidays. I've gotten from honey baked ham and from bjs (or Costco, can't remember, lol) for a crowd, but where do I get this type of ham for 4 people for a weekday dinner? Does this even exist in such a small quantity? Tia!

Question about ham
It's usually sold by the pound but I agree I've never seen any little hams. Can you make it and then save the leftovers for sandwiches and stuff?

Re: Question about ham
It won't be exactly the same thing, but both Stop & Shop and Whole Foods carry a small boneless ham- approx. 2 lbs. You have to slice it yourself, but it may be what you are looking for. I believe the one I bought at S&S was under the Nature's Promise brand.

Question about ham
I'm not sure other than the small tins I think they still sell. I've bought just a small package of 3 or 4 slices of ham steak for recipes but it's not exactly like a nice spiral ham. I will say, ham freezes great so worse comes to worse you can buy a bigger one and freeze the leftovers. I use the frozen leftovers in soups, casseroles, breakfast dishes, etc.

Re: Question about ham
I don't think they come that small. However you can get some ham steaks, brush glaze on them and bake.

Re: Question about ham
not a strange question! I had this issue when I wanted ham for a Chirstmas brunch. There were only 4 of us & we had other food. I ended up with something from stop & shop. By husband actually sent me a picture of it from the store to see if it was close enough to what I wanted.

Re: Question about ham
In the past I've gotten a small 3lb ham from Omaha steaks. Maybe check their website?
