iPhone upgrades
Can someone tell me what the deal is now? I haven't upgraded in a while and now everywhere says you basically pay outright for the phone or monthly. No more one time upgrade fee and a free phone anymore? I didn't realize I would have to pay like 800$ for a iPhone 7.

Yes, you have to buy phone outright or pay monthly. Our bill is $184 per month for 2 iPhone 7s with 8 GB of data, including insurance on both phones and taxes/fees. I receive a 19% discount for being a teacher. The good thing is that they now roll over unused data from previous month. I always had unlimited data and was nervous to switch to 8 GB but it's more than enough for us.
