Help me find a car seat
DS1 is 4.5 and weighs 65lbs. His convertible car seat only goes up to 65lbs. I'd ideally like him in a 5pt booster, but the reasonably priced ones only go up to 70lbs. I need to buy 2 car seats because of my schedule - my husband needs one in his car and then I need one in mine. I'm on a pretty tight budget. don't think he's old enough, or mature enough to be in a booster with just a seat belt, but it looks like that might be my only option. Anyone have any suggestions?

The Graco Nautilus Elite goes up to 80 lbs.

I really like the Britax frontier 5 or booster with big kids that don't behave ideally in the car. The weight limit is pretty high. I got it for pretty cheap... but I think it was an older model.
If I were you... I'd see if someone was willing to sell one used. I see them on my local FB group... often for free.

Evenflo Chase $60 on Amazon. It has a harness and then converts to a booster. I have 2 for my inlaws who pick my kids up from school. Great seat and very light.

the 5 point harnest only goes to 50lbs so this wouldn't work for her.
OP - how much is your spending limit? Maybe you can find deals online and/or us coupons to bring down the price.

We use and love the britax frontier. DD is 6 and we've been using it since she turned 4. i've loved the 5 pt harness and it will convert to regular booster too

About $100 per seat. I'd need 2. I've looked at the Britax, but they're so expensive!
