Stanley Steamer?
I need to get my carpets cleaned, they are gross and we aren't ready to get new flooring just yet.
Anyone use Stanley Steamer?
How much is it?
Do they do a good job?
Do you have to move furniture?

Stanley Steamer?
Ive used them a few times and been happy. The prices are on-line, it cost us $250 for 2 rooms, 1 landing and 2 sets of stairs. Yes, they move the furniture.

OMG they are the best I have used- I have a condo I rent out - the tenants are always slobs and Stanley Steamer always does a great job. They are having a sale now 2 rooms for $129- they will move the furniture for you.

Thanks guys . I had a very sick cat that had been vomitting all over the place and my rugs are just beyond gross as much as I spot cleaned at the time it was happening.
Eventually we will replace them but they aren't even that old so I am thinking if we can get them clean and get a few more years out of them, that would be ideal.
They weren't cheap!

Never used Stanley Steamer but have used (many times) Oxi Fresh. They are great. Prices aren't bad either.

I love Stanley! They are great! The prices are on their website, I think I have gotten the two room deal for $129 ish. They will move furniture, no problem. I didn't want them to move furniture in one room and just wanted a quick cleaning around furniture and they still moved a couple pieces.

Stanley Steamer?
Blue Bay Carpet Cleaning. I used them recently to clean my at least 5 year old carpets (they came with the house). It was about $170 for about 700SF of carpet including the closets. They did a fantastic job. Took about an hour and the carpet could be walked on immediately. The carpets looked brand new when they were done.

Not hijacking your post but is anyone afraid of bed bugs when using these type of services ?
I want to have my sofas cleaned so bad but every time I decide to call, I start thinking these machines could be housing bed bugs.
Am I crazy ?

I don't think bed bugs could live in the machines what with the hot water and cleaning solution
They would drown
