Periods After Kids
I used to have decent periods. 4-5 days. Only heavy 1 or 2 days and manageable cramps. Since having my second daughter they last forever. Now I am on day 8 of low flow period. Like WTF go away AF!!!!!!

This. I never had to buy super plus tampons until I had my DD.
And VERY regular where they were never ever before

Periods After Kids
Thankfully I've had the opposite. They used to be longer, heavier, and less regular. Now I'm always shocked how quick it's over.

Mine were heavier. I just went back on the pill. I never got it regularly, then started to regulate after them now nothing again

Re: Periods After Kids
Omg, so heavy after dd2. And I'm now on week THREE of this particular flow! I just started back on the pill and did a same day start instead of waiting until I got my next period, which is why it's stretched out. Enough already! Better be fine by the time we go on vacation!

Re: Periods After Kids
I first tried Lo loestrin but it gave me a lot of anxiety. After dd1, a low dose one also had given me anxiety. I switched to ortho tri cyclen and have been on that for about a year (except for my lapse when I forgot to schedule my 6-month check in) and really like it.

I have a history of anxiety and am so nervous about doing anything to bring that into play. Why didnt I get my tubes tied!!??? UGHHHHH Leaning towards Ortho tricyclen Lo maybe..

Same here loestrin gave me major major panic attacks.

That was the main reason I didnt do it. Just so worried about getting pregnant. My boss and his 41 yr old wife just got an oops baby. I feel like they are a walking cautionary tale lmao
The first two kids are much older and they adopted their third. Then surprise 41 and pregnant!

Re: Periods After Kids
Oh please. My periods are so gross and super heavy now for like 3-4 days and then it's just spotting but they have become super painful. It's not cramping like usual cramping, it's like a muscle spasm. It goes as quickly as it comes on and it can take my breath away. It's so weird. It starts on day 2. And my PMS is insane too. I used to have a day of moodiness but now I'm insane. I can cry at the drop of a hat or I can rip your head off, I bloat unbelievably and I eat everything in sight for like a week. Its horrible. I can't get the baby weight off!
