The best thing happened to me...
.... my kids were wild this morning, screaming and crying and I was on the brink of a meltdown. DH is working today and was on the phone with me hearing the commotion. As soon as I hung up with him his mother called me and said she was dropping my niece off and wanted to come watch the boys and told me to go out for a few. It's like god knew I was on the verge of a meltdown. My in laws are nuts but they literally saved the day. I went out for a 45 minute pedicure and got Starbucks. It has been the best hour alone in a while!!

My inlaws (mil) are way to self absorbed to ever have done that.
So glad you got the break. Stepping away for even a few minutes makes all the difference.

That is pretty awesome. My in laws aren't into visiting, and we don't have any family come to help us out, but i do have mother's helpers & sitters that I can call up - and I have - just for a break. Good for you!
