camcorder vs phone
do people use camcorders for home videos anymore, or just the video on their phones? Debating buying one to capture a lot of the things we are doing this summer together

camcorder vs phone
I had one for a while but it just gets too combersome to carry so much stuff around. I think if you want to do anything different or don't have much space on your phone, then get one. But phone cameras do well enough for what I tend to do.

We use our camcorder for vacations, birthdays and special celebrations. Outside of that we use our phone camera. I tend to like the camcorder to capture longer days as I have 2 batteries. And the camcorder I have is really small

I have a small camcorder I use during holidays/birthdays/celebrations etc. I would never have enough room on my phone to record everything.

I use my digital camera to record, and it's high definition so the videos come out great.

we got one right before my son was born and we keep saying its the best thing we ever did. It wasn't expensive, its small and easy to bring places. we watched it the other night & we am so glad we got it. it catches so much more then brief phone videos.

we ended up ordering a small one yesterday on amazon. I have lots of phone videos, but to me they aren't the same because they are only a min or two at a time. I want longer videos of her 1st birthday, our vacations this summer, etc.
