What does your 5 year old boy play with?
I'm looking to get some new toys for DS. What does your 5 year old like to play with? He was never big into toys so I'm always stumped. He likes to build things with legos, but I've tried magnatiles and they were a waste of money.
He's very into building and construction but outgrew his Home Depot bench and toys. He likes the real stuff 
I have an old laptop that he literally takes apart and tries to put back together.
Anyway, any suggestions for things to keep him busy?

What does your 5 year old boy play with?
He is a lego nut. We have bins and bins of them. Trucks and army things. He uses his magnatiles but only to build garages for his trucks.

My little guy isn't into typical stuff either. His favorites at the moment are sketching, making stuff with the clay you can bake and legos.

Super hero action figures, that's pretty much all he plays with.
Maybe he would like something like this? Or do you think he would be bored by it?

My son is 4 and a half
Very into super hero dolls(like Barbie size)
Still plays with peppa pig and the house cars etc
Kinetic sand
Big floor puzzles
Spelling cards
Board games
Still loves his train table

He has these dinosaurs that came with a battery and hand screw driver
You take them
Apart and have to re build them

Board Games - Life Jr, Puzzles, Zingo, Headbands, Twister, Square up, etc
Still loves dress up and we have a ton of superhero costumes and the boy's old Halloween costumes in a bin
Of course Ipad...  - Minecraft, Color Switch

My DS is 6.5, but is the same way... very few toys or board games keep his interest. he likes "real" stuff.
my mom got him a subscription to Kiwi Crate for his birthday, and he LOVES those!!! its different things to build, science projects every month. its for this age group, and just challenging enough for them  He also has a couple of the Batatt "Take Apart" vehicles (the crane, and the one that looks like a Hummer)... he likes those, too.

he loves building so blocks and magformers are his go to. He also plays games on the IPAD and playdoh and kinetic sand is a favorite of his too. Now that its warm he loves being outside, kicking a ball around, bubbles, parrk,, etc...

Legos, Star wars toys, Nerf guns for sure, he still plays with his cars, he loves to read and of course the ipad.
