What does your 3 year old boy like to play with?
DS will be 3 in 2 months and we have no idea what to get him for his birthday.
What does your DS play with at this age?
ETA: What are some good "big" gift ideas?

Legos, legos and more legos.
He also likes cars.
I don't think he likes the larger toys we got him for his birthday. They are just bulky and take up a lot of space.
His current favorite thing is squinkies. he wants squinky everything.
We wanted to get him more big ticket items but he seems to enjoy the small stuff better.

toys:
cars
trucks (anything that digs or has buttons)
Lego (mostly Dulpo)
some Playmobil stuff (we keep some of the smaller pieces)
his train table
a lot of Fisher-Price Imaginext toys
Outside: Loves his scooter, sandbox, little tikes basketball hoop, t-ball set.

He is really into cars right now. He is also into cleaning so I let him use our vacuum cleaner

ITA. Legos and Squinkies are his favorite. He also loves playing on our I Phones and our laptop/desktop computers.
Play Doh and Moon Sand are huge over here also, but we play those outside.
He is also veeeerrrry into Toy Story 1,2 and 3 videos right now.

What does your 3 year old boy like to play with?
Cars & trucks all day, every day! Big or small - he likes whatever we give him.
R/C toys like his Tonka Bounce Back Racer.
His Black & Decker Toy Work Bench is one of his favorites - he uses the tools all over the house & "helps" his daddy constantly.
He also loves his Home Depot garden tools (weed whacker, leaf blower & lawn mower) from TRU.

Cars - Cars cars and hot wheels/matchbox cars
Trains - Thomas, Chuggington, Imagineer
Big gift: Train table, Ds got a swing set for his bday. Still not installed. Loves baseball, so a bat, balls and tees might be good.

Cars and trucks. All kinds of Hotwheels, and police/emergency/fire/ambulance vehicles.
Play-doh
Lawn mower (in and out of the house!)
Bubbles
Washable colored markers and construction paper
Soccer ball

All good ideas, thanks. Need to get moving bc his bday is in 2 months!
I guess I wanted to get him this amazing "big" gift but it doesn't seem like there is anything big to get him, that he'd like. (have a train table, wagon, big swing set)
He is def into cars - we suddenly have a bunch of hot wheels/matchbox cars and he plays with them all the time. I'm thinking we'll get him some type of hot wheels garage, carry case/transporter, more cars, etc. He needs a tricycle too. I want to get him a Power Wheels Quad but it doesn't make sense bc we have a normal sized yard (vs a really big one) and where would he ride, kwim.
My dad/mom want to get him legos and my dad wants a remote control race track and cars (this is his idea, not that he's seen it, I'm thinking for a 3 yr old, Geotrax?)
And why do kids love squinkies? Looked them up online and couldn't figure it out, lol!

What does your 3 year old boy like to play with?
I'm already trying to think ahead for christmas gifts, and my 3 1/2 year old already has the above filled to the brim.....
ds also loves his leap pad- leappad games are good, and more disney movies are good(we use them at night for bedtime)
