I have an Acura TL and there are certain spots where the satellite radio will cut out for a second or two - always the same places. I do not think it's the car, but more just the way the satellite signal is being sent. I don't think you'll find any car where this doesn't happen

Some cars are worse than others - not in signal strength but the buffer.

I just traded in a 2008 Honda Accord for a 2018 Audi Q5 and there is a big difference. The Accord had a large buffer - it would be 30 seconds in the tunnel and then the radio would stop. In the Q5, it feels like 5 second buffer so if you're under a overpass waiting for a light it will go out, where in the Accord there was a shot it wouldnt because the buffer was longer.

I have had two Acuras, a lexus and currently have an infinity (Q60), I like Acura best, I had a TSX and TL, don't love the SUV body types for Acura which is why I got the Infinti but like the new ones more so considering it for our next car.

Audi Q5 hand down.

I will never own another car as my every day driving car.

Update: well I test drive the Lexus RX350 this weekend. Not impressed. I don't like the 2017 model styling at all- the dashboard is horribly busy looking, I don't like that huge screen that looks like I propped up my iPad on top of the dashboard, then I need to use a mouse type ball to navigate buttons. The front grill is ugly, I am just so disappointed I thought I would really like it. It did drive well, had great acceleration/ pickup even though it felt like the gas pedal was shorter (?). The dealer offered $52K on the model I drove and I just felt for that crazy high price I should feel like "wow this car is super amazing ! But I didn't feel that way at all. Chat Icon

Going to try the Acura again and also will re-consider the Audi Q5. The Volvo XC60 had the nicest interior I think but nervous that it's mega $$ to deal w repair costs. Ugh, I hate car shopping.

Let me know how you make out with the Acura. I might be able to help if you really like it.

I've had a new RDX as a loaner vehicle since Saturday. I've liked driving it. It handles nicely and is easy to drive - I've never really driven an SUV before. It's not as powerful as my TL, but I do really like it. The two screens have not been distracting to me - once I had everything set up the way I want it, they've been relatively easy to navigate.
