Cuisinart Food Processor blade recall
Anyone affected by the cuisinart food processor blade recall that came out in december? Have you gotten your replacement blade yet?
I submitted for a replacement in december and still haven't gotten it. For a regular cook, this is a LONG time to be without my beloved food processor and they're expensive to replace.

I submitted for a replacement in december and still haven't gotten it. For a regular cook, this is a LONG time to be without my beloved food processor and they're expensive to replace.
Return it to BBB. Mine was recalled in November, right after Thanksgiving. I put in for the recall immediately. In December I was like I'm just going to BBB. They replaced my machine for free because it was purchased off my registry (but like 7 years ago!!!) So I got a free 7 year upgrade!! Which was necessary because I use mine multiple times per week... and they just sent me my replacement blade only like... a month ago... I think I had gotten it one day randomly in April. So only 5 full months later.

Interesting! Good to know. I've had mine for probably close to 10 years and can't remember where it came from. I think it was Amazon but may have been a gift from my mom. Does your replacement blade actually work with your old machine? I'd read on consumer reports the few people who'd received the replacement blade said it was either too big for the diameter of the cup or too loose and came off during use  I just called customer service and they claim my replacement shipped out recently, so we'll see!

Does this recall include their mini food processors?? I use it constantly, more than my regular food processor (different brand). I haven't had any problems but now I'm nervous about using it?!?

it's for any of their riveted blades i think. you can find a website with all affected model numbers

Cuisinart Food Processor blade recall
My food processor was part of the recall- I got my replacement blade a couple of months ago. I would call them back and see if they can send out the replacement ASAP.
