Cuisinart food processor RECALL
Yeah mine was one of them too. Just returned it to bed bath and beyond and have a store credit for $162. Not bad considering it was an engagement gift from 2010!
I called the cuisinart number and it's been busy nonstop. So I just returned it.
Scary though that the blade is ending up in food.

just heard on the news. ours is not one of those BUT we will be checking after every use to be sure we're not eating metal!!!!

Mine is recalled but the website isnt working when I press submit on my info. Mine was purchased in 2010 for my wedding as well from Bed bath and beyond. Can I return it without a box? What did you replace it with? I am OBSESSED with my food processor. I don't want to give it up... but that recall is too scary to ignore.

Yeah I tried the website too, but it kept freezing when I submitted my info. I just took it back. No box. Nothing.
I didn't replace it, but we never use it. I just took the store credit.
