I Cannot Believe that Lobster Roll(Northside) in Riverhead Closed
I'm so upset to hear this news! This was our go to Summer spot for outdoor eating as we head out east. Can anyone recommend anything similar to it in the same vicinity that I may like?

Lobster Roll NORTHSIDE located in Riverhead, has closed and is under new management. Frederick H. Terry Sr. is ready for a new direction and has decided to "pass the baton" to long time Montauk resident Peter Allen who will open the "Sound Bistro" in mid May.
Former NYC restauranteur Michael McCann will take the reigns. The new concept will incorporate a fusion of Long Island BBQ meeting today's trends in culinary focus, and will offer catering at the "Stable" as well as live music. 631-381-0519

I don't have recommendation. I really did like the food there. I could get fresh fish and chips that tasted like they were actually real fish not something out of a grocery store frozen section.

You can go to their other location in Amagansett
Personally I have a better lobster roll at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck

Buoy one has really good seafood-- the location in riverhead is not fancy looking, it's on main st by the post office.
you can sit outside in the summer.
They dont have lobster rolls I don't think?

Love lane kitchen is awesome. Don't tell anyone, its already hard enough to get a table.

I remember reading a few years ago they tried to sell it, so I figured at some point it would close. I will miss the fried shrimp there. It was always my favorite. no matter where I went.

Gonna miss them. Would go there then get Gingerbread cookies next door. Our 2nd restaurant we go to in that area is Cooperage Inn. Its also on Sound Ave.
