Looking for a rec for an honest dentist please?
Preferably Nassau but will go to Queens. Went to a new one recently & got a dishonest vibe.

They have good reviews on yelp. Are they honest?
I went to see my dentist of 6 years (I think you may know where this is because I think we lived in the same area- the one in the dgstn shopping center) & they told me I needed 3 fillings & we will watch like 5 more teeth. I was seriously shocked and thought something was fishy since they just turned into a national dental chain. I got a second opinion & was told I needed 5 fillings. The second doctor was quick to get me in early next week to begin the fillings. I just feel like he was desperate for my business. Ugh, I hate dentists.

Dr. Schaefer in floral park. He is a solo practitioner and is super nice and honest.

The one I recommend is fantastic. Dr Chris (owner) and I used to work together. He's a really good guy. You can tell him I sent you. And he's generous with laughing gas which is so much fun lol

Dr. Levy in Merrick is a super nice & friendly dentist. He has helped me after a few dentist mishaps at other practices. He gave it to me straight, with a great chair side manner. Staff is friendly & personable. He will try to upsell you sleep apnea testing, but not in a pushy way. Just in an informed way.
