Help with Middle School project
My son needs to create a "new" modern day soundtrack to represent scenes from the "Outsiders". He needs 5-6 songs. We have a few but looking for more suggestions. Help!
ps. I'm not doing his project for him. This is just one small part that he's having some trouble with.

Maybe tis will make it easier. Here are the scenes and the conflicts:
The boys meet Cheri at the drive in theater. (So, a song about a nice girl you can't be with?)
Church fire where the save the children (Song about Heros)
Johnny Dies (Song about losing a friend or something like that)
Rumble (Song about a big fight?)

oh, fun! I loved this movie/book and I love music! I'll think on this. What years are considered "modern"? lol... maybe a dumb question, but I wouldn't want to suggest something that isn't considered "modern" (because I still can't believe it's not the 90's anymore  )
Anyway. Just to start, here are a few possibilities for Johnny's death...

Then there is always "One Sweet Day" by Boyz II Men/Mariah Carey for Johnny's death.
I will try to think of some more songs for this and the other scenes... I love stuff like this!!!
