If you work, are you off today?
I am not off.
The traffic was an absolute pleaseure this morning and the building I am in is empty- I feel like we are the only company in here today...parking lot was empty.
My last company was not closed today either- but the one before was.
We also are not off on President's Day- which is even MORE unusual to me. I feel like this is the only company I have ever worked at that was NOT off for President's Day.
After New Year's Day, we have no holiday until Memorial Day.
It's a LONG stretch

We are open, but do have off Presidents Day.
DH does not have either off, first day this year off is Memorial Day.

Glad I'm not alone with the long gap from New Year's to Memorial Day.
I really thought i was the only company with so little paid holidays!

I do take off time in February because I have my son that week. Not the whole week (usually) but this year 3 days.

We are not off but I don't mind. All of our clients are off, so the phone is barely ringing and I can actually get some work done today!
ETA. The next holiday I'll get off for is Memorial Day.

I am working today and my firm is open although 1/2 my office used PTO days to be off today. I work for a large ins company and they only recognize the standard 7-8 holidays. Our next day company vacation date isn't until Memorial Day.

I'm working today, but DH has off so he stayed home with the kids.
Thankfully though we do have off for Presidents Day and Good Friday. Looking forward to those days off.

I am an essential employee so I worked today, with holiday pay. Non essential had off. I have worked all holidays this year, and other than being sick, they have been good and I get a lot of work done.

My company was closed and we are closed Presidents' Day. Our projects are mostly union so many of our holidays are the same as the union schedule.

I am off today and I am off President's Day. I would never be able to make it from January to May! Thankfully we have some more holidays coming up before Memorial Day!

I'm a non essential hospital employee and have never been off. At my old job it wasn't a holiday at all, at my new job it's a floating holiday but I'd rather bank the day (and I'm new so it would look bad if I took it).

Nope! After Christmas and New Years I didn't even get the Monday off! I go from Thansgiving to Memorial Day for a holiday!!!

When I worked this and President's Day were holidays for me. We could float them though.
DH gets nothing from New Year's until Memorial Day.
