Boston with young kids
We are thinking of going to Boston for 3 nights during February break. Looking for great things to do with kids, ranging from 8 months up to almost 6. Also, kid friendly restaurants, nice hotels, etc. I have heard the Children's Museum and the Science center are amazing, so we will probably do those. Anything else? TIA!

Check out my post in parenting I responded to. I listed exactly what we did. You can also check for groupons or discount museum tickets if you buy a bunch

We did the aquarium and the children's museum. I'm not a huge fan of the aquarium, but my DS loved the sting rays. The children's museum was awesome. DS is 2.5 years old.

The Duck Boat tour is fun.
Unfortunately it doesn't run in the winter (BC the Charles river is frozen half the time )

We did the Boston Tea Party Museum. We also loved walking the Freedom trail and exploring the areas. We didn't do the aquarium but we hope to next time. We ate at the Quincy Market everyday for lunch. My kids loved doing a horse and carriage ride in the evening. It was so relaxing! We ate dinner at Union Oyster House. It is pub food but it's one of the oldest restaurants in the US, so that was pretty cool.

Re: Boston with young kids
We were just there a few weeks ago. We did the Children's Museum and it was a lot of fun. If you have a membership with the LI Children's Museum the admission is free because of the museum reciprocity.
Other than that we mostly just walked around a lot. They played at the playground in Boston Common, we walked around Quincy Market and surrounding shopping area and then we had a great lunch in one of the many pubs in the city. The kids had SO much fun just walking around and seeing different places and things all day!!
