advice for my niece? (body/height)
My niece lives in asia (we're Asian).
I just heard from my sister that my niece cries a lot and has been upset about her body for quite a while now (more than a year)
She is 10 and is the shortest one in her class but also the heaviest. (you know how those Asians are...tiny!)
Now I saw her last summer and she wasn't fat, but her body is like her parents - short and stocky.
Any advice? I think 10 is a bit young to be thinking about this.
My sister already tells her no to worry, etc...
When she was visiting, she didn't eat non stop junk food, she ate just a normal amount of food. Mix of healthy and junk, like most people.

I like these photos: http://www.boredpanda.com/athlete-body-types-comparison-howard-schatz/
It shows Olympians in every sport, and how every person in these photos are the absolute best in the world (maybe top 10, but close enough... ), and their bodies are so drastically different than each other.

I would just work on encouraging her to be healthy (like exercising 30 minutes a day). It will also make her feel better to be more active.

Ugh, all part of being a girl. She needs to focus on her positives and have a healthy lifestyle (eating and exercising) and not focus on the things she can't change like her height.
