Trump and nukes
So is this another distraction, or does he want to ramp up the arms race? This is the thing about his presidency that makes me the most afraid. I was a young teen in the mid-80s and I always followed the news, and our relations with Russia and the idea of nuclear war was very scary at the time.
He is a moron, and does not understand what he's getting himself into.

One of the (many, many) scary things about Trump is that nobody (including those closest to him) have any idea what he's thinking, or what his intentions are....
It could be a distraction, it could be a serious intention to amp up the nuclear arms race, it could be a rant against something that bothered him, or it could be something completely out of the blue... who knows... he certainly doesn't...

I can't handle him anymore, and he's not even in office.
He is going to start a nuclear war. Even freaking Putin said he doesn't want an arms race. Why is Vladimir Putin making more sense than our own peotus???
He has no idea what he is talking about and doesn't know how to express himself properly.
Oh, and don't forget that tons of A-list celebrities have asked to perforn at the inauguration, but he wants the people. Yeah, ok. Sure, Donald.
He is such a sad, broken human being.

THIS is why my intense anger about this election was NEVER about politics or policy.
I have respected each president and 99% of the candidates until now. You do not have to agree with me about the Supreme Court, abortion, etc. to have my respect as president.
But the ignorance and recklessness of this man and those who continue to defend and support him can kill all of us and our children.
So...no. Until he is willing to adopt the demeanor of someone who will take care of this country responsibly and put the greater good ahead of himself--even if that means not indulging every adolescent whim he has or actually doing some work or preparation...no respect for him or for the votes of those who put him here--with the power to exterminate the human race.
I am terrified, disgusted, and sick. ANY of the other republican candidates who stood on that stage would have been fine.

This is man is a psychotic, ignorant, idiot. I am SO disappointed that the Electoral College didn't do the job they were tasked with and prevent this lunatic from being in office.
And for the love of all that is good and holy in the world PLEASE have someone STOP this man from tweeting!!! I am sorry but a PRESIDENT should NOT be constantly tweeting his EVERY, SINGLE passing thought with regards to everything from foreign policy to healthcare. It's SO immature, grow up dip$hit...............you're a PRESIDENT now!!! I wish he'd just shut the fcuk up and actually do something of value instead of running off at the mouth like a fool. He is the epitome of embarrassment.

I agree. The tweets are out of hand. He needs to put away his phone and stop. I am shocked that his advisors allow it. It's embarrassing. I agreed with him that it is indeed a very effective way to communicate things but I think it should not be used in the capacity that he is using it. It leaves too much up to interpretation, too many things can be misconstrued. If you want to tweet condolences to a fallen cop's family, fine. You want to tweet encouraging things or positive things, fine. But to even vaguely reference a nuclear arms race in a tweet is so inappropriate.

I think it's important for a president to use social media (in a positive way of course) to reach the largest audience, to connect with the younger demographic, to spread a message of positiviity, etc. This guy, however, uses twitter like his very own private diary. He supposedly surrounds himself with the best people, WHY haven't they shut down his twitter yet and taken the reigns of the account? He is basically poking a sleeping bear with a stick.

How I wish it had come down to Kasich. I didn't agree with some of the man's views but I feel at least he would have been a respectable and decent choice. He wouldn't be a complete reckless embarassment to our nation and I wouldn't fear our safety on a daily basis over some stupid mispelled tweet if he had won. Too bad he and everyone else got steam rolled in the competition with this blow-hard's antics and free advertising he received from his behavior. Maybe if Kasich had used vulgar and inappropriate language and behaved like a 14 year old girl just like Trump he would've had a fighting chance.

But he did lie to his supporters and has since admitted it. Like the Lock Hillary Up thing he started, his supporters took him seriously and now on his "thank you tour" has said "oh well we just said that before the election. Now that "we" have won, forget it right?" Literally.
