ATM fees when not using your bank
We always try to use our bank, Chase ATM but were away in Caribbean. We had to use non Chase ATMS. With the ATM fee and Chase fee, it was around $9 each time. Do you ever try call bank and ask them to take it off or do you just pay it?

If you call your branch you may be able to get someone kind enough to waive the fee..

All banks suck. You should call ahead and find out what banks where you are going have an agreement with your bank beforehand.
I got screwed royally by a bank after a mistake they made and the ATM fees were over $400. I only got half of that back after going through an ombudsman.
You would be lucky if you got anything back, TBH.
