Last week we were talking about bank fees
I had an overdraft on a checking account and the rep I spoke to said they wouldn't charge me the $34 fee but they did. I thought I had the accounts linked to my savings account but I couldn't since I'm the only one on this particular checking account and my savings accounts are joint.
I had to call them back on another matter and brought up the fact that they said they wouldn't charge me and they did. The customer service rep credited the $34 back to me.
Yay Citi!
They do have a heart.

this happened to me last week too ( I have SCNB). It totally makes me happy when they will work with me. As far as I have seen, banks have a lot of room to refund fees if they want to.
