thoughts are needed, new job offer help!!!
they sent me the offer letter but it does not spell out everything we talked about.
-Talks about my salary -my hours, exempt from over time -my medical/dental is covered by them unless I want to up not greater than what they would pay for an HMO. -talks about my PTO days, 8 holidays and 2 floating -when eligible for life insurance and 401K, they never told me how much they contribute, just its not great.
not in the letter, the $500 travel stipend or the reimbursement I would receive if I have to travel to patients -vision coverage, was to be at a cost to me -my continuing ed classes and how many days they will give me off, the VP told me yesterday on the phone 3-5 days but she was not sure
Also, I see patients on fridays night in a private setting, the longer hours at this place will interfere, I would like to start earlier or take less lunch time so I can leave work a little earlier on Fridays..
Q: should I ask them to add the above missing info?
When do I bring up the Friday issues?
My reason for wanting this job, in garden city, no more LIRR and the almost 20% pay increase.
TIA

If you can't work expected normal hours on Friday, I'd bring it up before you take the job. They may take back the offer.
I'd ask to see the employee handbook. Those other items may be in there as it seems to be company wide items and not personalized to you. If is in the handbook then it shouldn't need to be in offer letter.

You should bring up the Friday issues ASAP- keep in mind they may say no to allowing you to change the set hours. Is it possible to adjust the time of your private clients? Your reasons for taking the job sound good. Close to home and no LIRR are huge perks! I would check the employee handbook but make sure anything that is not in there is negotiated and included in your offer letter.

Thank you for your thoughts. I feel odd asking for the handbook. I've never done that before. Yes, I could start seeing clients later after 6, just a long day/night or switch to Sat/Sun but then I'm working 6 days a week. I think when I sign and email her my acceptance, I will add the few things mentioned just to confirm.
something like, just to confirm when we spoke and when I spoke with the Sr. VP she mentioned I would receive.... days off for xx
