Amazon and Local Post Office
Is anyone having issues with Amazon and their local post office? I have a large package that says delivered on Friday at 6:50 am and I never received it.  My house is very set back from the road so I am pretty sure it wasn't taken.
Going to the post office tomorrow.

Amazon and Local Post Office
I'm pretty sure it is the smart post or whatever it's called. It was delivered to your local post office but not your house yet.

My sister and brother in law work as a mail carrier. I'm not sure which ones but a lot of Amazon packages are being delivered by Amazon workers. They fill up a truck like a budget truck and get paid for the day. They don't know areas they are working in and my sister told me people are yelling at them for missing packages or ones that were delivered in the wrong spot etc. I hope this hasn't happened to you. But it's just an FYI

The other day an Enterprise rent-a-van delivered packages to my neighbors.

this could have happened. Every christmas we see big box trucks by us delivering packages... just to get them out quicker...

I've been seeing this a lot lately. I was wondering if they are amazon workers or ups. I've seen ups have people deliver packages out of their cars at the holiday season.
As far as the post office, mine often scans my packages - sometimes as delivered, sometimes as attempted to be delivered and then brings it the next day.

The woman that works at my local post office said that Amazon was taking over delivery of their own items in my area. (Lindenhurst/Babylon/etc)

Amazon and Local Post Office
Last week a man in an uhaul truck was delivering packages in my neighborhood, and he delivered one of my packages to a house on the street behind us with the same number.

We got an amazon package today, I was halfway done with opening it until I realized it wasn't mine. It was delivered to my house number, wrong street.
My mailman is awful with doing that.
