Little Gym or Gymboree?
Looking to sign my daughter (1.5) up for a weekend class. Thoughts on which one is better? Thanks!

Most people I know like Little Gym better. I personally love Kidville over all of them.

I'm pretty sure they will both let you do a free trial class, so maybe try both and then decide?
My son started Little Gym when he was about that old... we both loved the whole program!! And last spring, at 5, he still went there, doing their "ChopSticks" karate class LOL and still loved it! The only reason we stopped is because he started full time kindergarten. he also likes the Parent Survival nights they have too

Depends on what you want to get out of it. Little gym has more gymnastics equipment where as Gymboree is play based learning.

I agree & it is probably location dependent. I tried both and didn't like the Little Gym staff (not as creative and one was visibly very sick). Loved Gymboree and did it with 2 kids.

I love Gymboree. Did it with DS when he was younger and just started DD today, actually. I didn't like Little Gym as much for this age (DD is 18 mo).

Definitely depends on the instructor, which is the case for any kids class. Also depends on your taste. I'd do free trials and take it from there.

I absolutely l9ve gymboree. DS is 8months and has been going since about 3 months maybe? I dont think little gym offers open play but I could be wrong. We dont use open play but I think as he gets older it would be nice to have that option. Gymboree is only on the north shore and Im south shore so its about a 25min drive but I still go every week and he has so much fun. The instructors are great, its like a little family.
