Celebrating DC's Milestone Birthday- What did you do?
DD is turning 5 next month - we are having a party for her with friends the weekend before her actual birthday but I am looking for ideas on how to celebrate her actual birthday day to make this milestone birthday special (her bday falls on a saturday). Normally we do dinner/cake with immediate family but since its a milestone I was looking for something "bigger"
How did you celebrate your DC"s 5th birthday?

Answered on FHF too...
I didn't consider 5 a milestone to be honest so we didn't do anything extra.
We just took her to the aquarium out east and to build a bear and lunch
Then we had our immediate family over that night for pizza and cake in the yard like we always do
At 6 she asked for a "friends" party so that was the first year we did an actual party at a place with her friends

At 5 - same as every other year. Food, cake with family
At 6- party with her classmates

Celebrating DC's Milestone Birthday- What did you do?
We did a friend's party at 5 for the first time (DS 1 was born in December so most of his friends did it for 4 but since he turned 4 first I got away with waiting lol).

We went all out for her 5th, I consider it a milestone its one whole hand! lol.
We just had all family and friends over, when usually we just have immediate. We did a Minion theme and had a clown and character come. They had face painting and magic show.

Celebrating DC's Milestone Birthday- What did you do?
My DS is turning 5 in Dec. We are not doing anything. Cake at home and thats about it. He had a friends party last year and we can't afford one every year.

I love going to places like the zoo or the aquarium for birthday including my own!

My family does not consider 5 a mile stone Birthday. DH and I spend the day with dd on her birthday and intend to continue the tradition. We take her someplace fun like the zoo or aquarium and then go out to dinner.
