Milestone birthday?
Anyone have a milestone birthday the same month as their due date? How are you planning to celebrate?
Before I was pregnant, I imagined taking a weekend or overnight trip somewhere. Now I'm really not sure what I can do! I don't want to go far since during my last pregnancy I dealt with preterm labor and gave birth early.

Milestone birthday?
I'd keep it as low-key as possible. Maybe dinner with DH and friends. Small gtg at my house. But nothing crazy.

Milestone birthday?
its not my milestone but i am planning a surprise 30th birthday for dh he is turning thirty 3 days after my due date im planning a party for when i am 37 weeks pregnant i dont want his birthday to go unrecognized
i would not want to go away since you went into preterm labor with your previous LO. maybe just go to dinner (you and DH or with a few close friends) and see if someone can watch your LO for the night (even have them sleep out)

Re: Milestone birthday?
I'll turn 30 when I'm 8 1/2 months. DH will be in charge but I imagine it won't be a large to do now :)

Milestone birthday?
Not my milestone, but my DH is turning 30 when I'll be 35 weeks. We are planning a trip to Virginia Beach for 4 nights as a 30th bday/babymoon.

Re: Milestone birthday?
My sister turned 30 when she was 7+ months pregnant. She had a party at pottery place. She brought wine and food. Afterwards, we all went out to dinner. Everyone had a great time.

How about a spa day followed by dinner out with friends?

Re: Milestone birthday?
Just crashing, but I turned 35 exactly a week before I had DS2. I didn't want to do anything. I was 39 weeks pregnant and ready for my sched C-section. I don't even remember what I did on my 35th bday. I had a just 2 year old and felt huge. DH wanted to do something so we had a party at the house a month in a half later. My parents live around the corner from us so we had the kids sleep over their house (they're litterly a half mile away) and then had a bunch of friends over. Wasn't totally my idea. DH wanted it more knowing we won't get to do something like that for a while and we haven't had our friends over too much since we moved a few months before that. It was a lot of fun and glad we did it.
