Cough medicine for 2.5 year old?
Are there any cough medicines that you can give a 2.5 year old? Thanks!

i use the hylands - both my kids wont drink the zarbees...they hate the taste.

I use both hylands and zarbees. Zarbees is good bc it had the honey in it so it soothes their throat.
Cough medicine is not ok for a 2 year old. Even robusttin children's says ages 6 and up.

I'ts not.
The one's mentioned are natural, homeopathic remedies- zarbee's is pretty much just flavored honey

I just looked it up. FDA doesn't recommend cough medicine under the age of 2.
DS had an rx for cough medicine last year when he was 3.

When my daughter was sick, we gave her water with honey, I want to make sure I wasn't missing something better that I can buy.

They Hyland's seems to list a lot of natural herbs and things.
Stuff I have never heard of.

They're more natural/homeopathic. There's no actual medicine in it as far as I know.
