Infant sleep while sick
DD is almost 9 month and just came down with a cold. When your infant is sick, do you try to avoid them crying at night (middle of the night) for fear their nose will get more stuffy? Or do yiu allow some crying?

Infant sleep while sick
When DS is sick with a cold, I allow for some crying (as long as it sounds like normal crying). Often, he wakes up and settles himself in a few minutes.

I don't allow my children to cry when they're sick. Everything goes out the window when they are sick.

Infant sleep while sick
ds is sick with his first cold. I felt bad but he cried a lot going to bed last night. There was nothing I could do to calm him. He wouldn't let me hold him, he wouldn't let me snuggle him, he wouldn't let me rub him. Finally after an hour he let me rock him until he fell asleep but it took a good while to for him to let me hold him. He's super strong and he turns around and fights against me etc

This is how my DS is too... 14 months old and he's had a cold recently too but just fights me when i try to hold him, rock him, cuddle him... I try my best but at some point i have to put him down and he does better settling himself down.
