The "how could *these 2* be our choice of candidates?" comments....
I've heard this same exact comment repeatedly for every single election I've been old enough to vote in or remember. And that's going back at least 20 years. Just an observation.

Really? I don't think I've ever heard that before. One thing I definitely don't remember is hearing from my international friends how our country is being viewed so negatively because of these 2 individuals.

I don't feel that way. In the past, I felt like at least one (if not both) of the candidates were a good choice.

I disagree. I feel like there are always faults with one candidate, but usually in the past I've easily made a choice. Not this time. I asked myself why these 2 so many times. LOL even as I cast my vote today.

I haven't heard that either but I also don't have that sentiment with this election and it's driving me nuts that people really think that.

I don't think I've heard it much before but I'm totally sick of people still saying it even in election night because newsflash, it ain't changing so deal with it and make sure next election you're not saying this shit again.

Post-Reagan. I was too young to remember that far back.

Honestly I have never heard it before. I have also never received as many text messages and emails from friends overseas wishing us luck and that they are thinking of us and hoping for the best and Yes they are all Hilary supporters.

All I keep thinking is that this election is so 1992 of us. Can you imagine back then if someone was like yes in 2016 it'll be Hillary and Donald! Like wtf no one would have ever believed it.

World markets are already wavering at the most recent numbers. Scary.

I have never heard that before and I have been old enough to vote for the past 22 years. I can hardly believe these are our choices. I totally agree with Leb.

I do not remember saying that about any election in the last 30 years. Yes there may have been one candidate that wasn't as good but never both. Even if I didn't like one of the candidates I was still able to respect them. This election, not so much.

I've never heard that before or felt that way about previous elections I was old enough to remember. But I definitely felt that way this election. I literally cringed and said "ugh" as I placed my vote yesterday.

I have felt that way for the last few elections. Our system is not supporting good candidates because who really wants to be president!
