It feels like the end of days
I was reading some tweets yesterday and someone said
"It feels like Xmas eve and the night before a surgery that you don't know you will make it thru - all wrapped up into 1."

Me too!! I  this ends the way I am hoping!!!! I've never been so wrapped up in an election before but this go around, I feel SO, SO, SO strongly that Trump would ruin our country that I am a nervous wreck waiting for this to all play out.

I really didn't want to come into the city to work today.
Wearing comfy clothes and sneakers.
Walked from Penn instead of taking the subway.
Have cash on me.
Just in case these threats are true.
Sad that this is the way I have to think now.

It feels like the end of days
What makes me sad is that we've seen the true colors of so many in this country. Regardless of who wins, that will still exist.
A friend of mine shared a quote from a comedy show that said 'America is a dirty couch and Donald Trump is a black light.' Really sums it up for me.

Al Qaeda and bomb threats.
Heard it somewhere, listened with half an ear because I don't believe it to be true, but there are really twisted people out there that would just try something in the name of Al Qaeda or ISIL or whoever the major threat is right now.

I woke to several messages from family and friends overseas this morning. The world is watching this election as closely as we are and some of them have commented on how the US has shown its true colors during this process and they were shocked.

Oh ok- yeah I heard about an unsubstantiated threat for yesterday. I didn't hear anything about today.

Same. I took today off because I know I'd be fairly useless at work and I have some PTO time to use.
I'm cuddling in bed with my cats. I am planning to go for a run and play the drums a bit later to blow off some of this nervous energy I have.

Meh I won't live in fear. I live in a major military town, we are always a target.
I may not like the candidates but I won't let some scum dedicate my ability to vote against one of them. Which is why I voted early. LOL
I'm much more in interested in why those three states. I think it's interesting that its just those three.

I am slightly concerned because I have seen a lot of "get your guns", "get your ammo" posts on peoples' Facebook pages. There is a faction out there that want this election to turn into a Civil War or Revolution.
