Venue in NYC for Engagement Party
My sister finally got engaged! LOL
We're looking for a cool or different venue for an engagement party in NYC- preferably Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens (LIC/Astoria area most preferable).
Must have good food - either cocktail party style or dinner & room for about 100 ppl. We checked out Refinery Rooftop- but the prices were outrageous for what you get.
Any ideas??

Freeman's Alley is a cool venue and its reasonably priced. My friends did a holiday party in one of the private rooms upstairs and we all loved the atmosphere and the food.

Check out Penthouse 808 in LIC. My friend had her wedding there, great food & spectacular view!

Venue in NYC for Engagement Party
My SIL had her shower at the Bronx Zoo and it's awesome there. The room is nice and they throw a nice event.
Botanical Garden is nice too.
