Anyone doing anything for Veteran's Day?
Speaking of overlooked holidays...
Does anyone do anything for Veteran's Day?
I'm going camping with the Boy Scouts that day, so I'm going to make sure we do something to acknowledge and honor the Veterans while we're there. Not sure what yet, but I'm sure there are plenty of ideas on-line that we can do. Probably tie it in with our flag ceremony.

We have been sending our Halloween candy overseas, in hopes to brighten their days a bit. I also add extra baked goods and stuff that my friends always ask for.
We also send cards to all our family/friends who are veterans.
The last couple of years, now that my kids understand more, we visit vfws and bring coffee, and desserts. This year we invited 3 veterans to our home to eat dinner with us, and will continue the coffee/desserts as well.
