LOL! I was going to say, we just got back from Florida and it was only in the 80s and I felt gyped.
I wanted it hotter.
We should have gone to Kansas! LOL

We 'nearly' broke our record here in San Antonio too. I mean it *IS* fall but man alive it's like high 90s here and even for us that's hot! our evenings are very mild and beautiful thankfully but mid day is brutal.

I'm looking forward to going to Florida late Oct!

Do you live in San Antonio, TX?

We are considering going there for spring break in mid April. Will it be hot enough to swim then?

Considering both New Mexico and Texas.

I saw that last on the weather! It made me start looking up last minute flights to Austin because I need summer back but we wound up having it here instead! Is it still pretty hot there in November?

Re: Not sure how warm it usually is in Kansas at this time of year but...

I'm walking to the train this morning and it's like 65 degrees out. The weather guy said that's the normal temps at 7 am in July.

I STILL see people bundled up in coats, scarves, tall boots like they are freezing.

I am sweating in a light weight long sleeved dress and bare legs and open toe strappy heels, wishing I had worn a short sleeved dress.
I don't get it.
Give it up- it's going to be in the 80s in NYC today.
Put the parka away for a day- you'll have MONTHS to wear it ad nauseam real soon. REAL soon! Like this weekend soon.

I had a cardigan on with a sleeveless dress and actually had to take the sweater off on the subway because I was so hot! People must just be sick of their summer clothes and excited to wear their new bundled up fall clothes but is it worth sweating your ass off for?

That has to be it.
I mean calm down people- you will have 6 months to wear all that bulk. You'll be sick of it when it's April and it's STILL 42 degrees outside

no.. not 'hot'.. just comfy. I'm used to milder temps in Oct. Generally this is the time we tell people to come visit us. COME IN OCTOBER, its' in the 70-80s beautiful weather. NOT 90s!! November it's generally still mild (70s)

April is hit or miss
Its our rainy season.. it can be beautiful or sleet. Your guess is as good as ours. LOL

ETA: this weekend we are getting our weather back..!!!!

Mid 70s!
