I'm sure I asked this question last year (re: sunblock)

But if you don't normally give your child a bath every night, do you bathe them every night that they've had sunblock on?

We usually do every other night for baths, otherwise it's too drying. But she's worn sunblock the last 3 days and on the non-bath nights, I wipe her off with a wipe and a wet paper towel, but I'm still icked out by not washing her face.

What do you do?

Well, you can always wash her face with a wash cloth. Chat Icon

ETA: Oh, and to answer your question, I pretty much give DD a bath when she's been outside playing (with or without sunscreen). But, I'll definitely just wipe her down with a washcloth some days, too!

With her soap on it or no? I do the wipedown part w/o soap, just a wet towel, but it still doesn't feel clean enough, and I'm so neurotic about keeping her face nice & clear (that's my biggest issue, I don't really care if the body's a little sticky still Chat Icon ), I don't want to dry out her face.

Guess I can try it and see what happens Chat Icon

Yes, with the soap, too!! I clean K's face after every meal w/ a washcloth with soap and water. I can't stand a messy face! Chat Icon

ETA: K's face has never been dry because of it. The soap is so mild and I don't use a lot.

Well, you know DD hates to get messy while eating Chat Icon so that's not an issue for us-- she literally makes me wipe her face if she gets messy, between bites Chat Icon So no soap needed during mealtime Chat Icon
