Went to the Dr yesterday...

I went to the dr. Yesterday & had an internal & blood work done. They said it was too early for a sono, and I have scheduled that for Nov 2nd. The Nurse Practitioner said everything looked good & felt in order. She took blood for a gagillion tests, and then we chatted for a while about the do's and dont's. She wrote me a prescription for CHEWABLE pre-natals. I was so excited that they come in chewable!

Poor Dh was like a deer in headlights. This was his first visit to the Ob/Gyn. He was horrified for a little bit, and then said, "now I know why you shave before you go to the Dr.!"

How long after the blood test can I expect results to come in? Is there anything I should be doing before I go to the sono on Nov 2nd?

I used to work in a dr's office and I believe they gave blood test results within 3 days, but am not positive

every office is different. I had my blood test results within a few days of my first apointment, but it depends on your office and what lab they use , etc..

I would just say between now and your first sono that you can just go about your days as normal... try to eat right (as long as you aren't having any nausea), try to get plenty of rest and generally take care of yourself
