Atlantis- for a 3 year old? Question
Has anyone ever taken a 3 year old to Atlantis. We are highly considering going. My kids will be 7 and 3 at the time. A few people have told me that it will be tough with a 3 year old there (he would have JUST turned 3) bc there isn't a lot for him to do.
Looking for first hand experience.

Re: Atlantis- for a 3 year old? Question
Yes. That is correct. I took my kids when they were 2 & 3 years old. Best part for them was the zero entry pool and beach... which you can get anywhere. The aquarium is nice too... but you can only spend so long there. The big water rides & slides are more geared towards much older kids & I would think pretty decent swimmers. I viewed it as more a cool place if you had teens.
Disclaimer: we had bad weather... so it may have given me a negative spin on it.

We went with our girls ages 3 and 2 at the time and they LOVED it! My 3 yo still talks about it to this day! They had so much fun in the kiddie water area and the aquarium. We are planning to go back.

Re: Atlantis- for a 3 year old? Question
We went when our younger child was 2.5yo and he had a fabulous time. He loved the aquarium. He swam with his puddle jumper and played in the sand. DH went on the bigger slides with older DS while younger DS and I hung out at the pirate playground area.
There is this awesome kid program that both my kids did. Younger DS was a little young but the trainer held him and helped him feed the sharks and sting rays.

Atlantis- for a 3 year old? Question
We went with our 4 year old twin boys and 6 yo DD. It was the highlight of our Disney cruise. We really enjoyed Atlantis and would love to go back.

Atlantis- for a 3 year old? Question
We went a year ago when my son was 2 and had a great time. They have a kids club that your children can go to as well. We did swimming with the dolphins which we all loved. Book one of the early sessions and its buy one, get one. We loved going to the great restaurants, although you have to make early reservations to be in the kid friendly time zone. We chose to stay at the Royal Towers and upgraded to a suite. It was perfect for us and we had a great time.
