What were your first signs of labor?

I never went into labor with DS since I was induced. I'm curious to know from BTDT moms, what were your earliest signs that you were going into labor. Any noticeable signs days or hours leading up to it?

Irregular contractions about a day to a day and a half before.
They became more painful overnight to the point where I couldn't sleep and then by early morning were regular enough to call the dr.

Prior to that, no other real signs

I had none. Woke up with contractions at 3am, had DD that day.

Just wet pants when my water broke and the accompanying "pop" sound I heard.

This time, it started with irregular contractions, then some spotting and then lost mucous plug. The doctors said my cervix was still closed, but a few hours later, my water broke and contractions were stronger and regular every 5-8 minutes.

I lost my mucus plug about 2 days before and contractions, that's about it.

13 days late and I'd had no signs of anything happening. Finally after a big dinner I had a stomach ache I thought from eating too much. By midnight I was having regular contractions and had dd1 the next day.

Woke up at 1am with a weird pain. Thought i had to poop sorry TMI. Lol i went to the bathroom and my water broke, gushed. Went to the hospital. Had baby at 4pm the same day.

Nothing until at midnight my water broke. Never had any contractions before that.

I just didn't feel right the night before. Kind of like I was nauseous.

Nothing until the evening before I felt funny, hard to describe exactly but it was like extra sore & heavy & extra pressure very low from the baby. I thought maybe something would happen soon but didn't expect to go into labor overnight. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning & wasn't sure if what I was feeling were contractions but definitely cramps. Within an hour or two I knew they were contractions & were becoming very regular & closely spaced. My water never broke on its own, the doctor had to do it. Got to the hospital around 7:30 in the morning & the baby was born at 1:30 in the afternoon.

With DS I had slight spotting and a few hours later contractions started.

With DD I had slight spotting for about a day. Then I started to feel very sick, like I was getting the flu. Contractions started in the evening and I had her the next morning.

With #1, my water broke. I wasn't having any contractions. Woke up at 1am with water breaking.

#2 - intense back pains, having to go #2 (a Lot) followed by painful contractions.

I was having irregular contractions for a couple of days and then I started to lose my mucus plug. Within 24 hours of losing my mucus plug my water broke.

Losing my mucus plug and feeling crampy. I went into labor that day 3 out of 4 times. Nothing leading up to it though.

Felt fine then woke up to intense hard contractions coming every 3 minutes apart at 2am. Had DD 16 hours later. So, there was no early labor , just immediate active labor. I was 7cm dilated when I arrived at the hospital.

With DS my water broke in the middle of the night. The day leading up I felt a bit crampy and off. That was it.

With DD, well you followed my saga on the pregnancy board. I had contractions for a WEEK before finally going into actual labor. I guess I knew it was legit labor because they got really painful?

The only thing out of the ordinary (and sorry if it's TMI), but I went #2 a lot the day or two before I gave birth.

My water broke with my first. I had to be induced with second, so I don't know - but I will say, I lost my "mucous plug" like a week before i was induced, and nothing ever came of that.

I can barely remember right now, but I think I lost my mucus plug about 3 days before I had my first. I had contractions every hour for an entire day before she was born.

With DS, I had been at the OBGYN the day before and I had lost a pound. That was the only sign, and I paid absolutely no attention to it. At 4:30 the next morning I woke up in labor. He was born at 9:45 or so..

For all 3, I just didn't feel right the day before. Nothing specific though. The first and third my water broke the next day. The second I woke up with contractions the following day.
