We went in March a few years ago. It was amazing! We stayed in Reykjavik. We did a land tour in jeeps (included dinner) to see go see the Northern lights - we did see them a little bit, but not much. We also did a Northern lights boat tour which was AMAZING! (they give you heavy coveralls to wear if you don't have warm enough clothing, but we had ski jackets and ski pants). We also did snowmobiling on a glacier - really fun; the Blue Lagoon - loved it! and also did a bus tour of the Golden Circle - waterfalls and geysers. If I remember correctly, the snowmobiling excursion was part of that bus tour, but might have been a separate excursion.

Also just walked around the city - it's very small and easy to see it all on foot. The whole trip was so easy - everyone speaks English and everything is set up to make it easy for tourists. Loved it there! Enjoy!
