Uncontrollable crying in middle of night
Dd has been sick for the last week not sleeping well, congested etc. Went to dr today and they said it wasn't an ear infection. She went to sleep really well tonight and woke up crying at about 10:30. I fed her and then she just started crying like crazy. Gave her gas drops and she has let out gas but stills crys like she is in a lot of pain. We took her for a drive and finally she fell asleep but it took quite a while. Same thing happened saturday night and we took her for a drive and she fell asleep. She never cries like this and today it actually seemed like she was feeling better from her cold. Any idea what it could be?

How old is she? My guess would be teething depending on her age

She is 7 months- will be 8 months soon. Could the teething be that bad that she cries like crazy? My son was fussy during teething but this is a whole other level.

yes, it could be from teething. Some kids cry, some don't. My son would cry uncontrollably from teething, while my girls didn't.

If she has a cold, she's likely uncomfortable and having a hard time breathing. It's normal for babies to cry a lot at night when they're sick.

LO is 7 months old also and the crying has definitely escalated when it does happen. Sometimes it was teething (when she cut the first two teeth there were some rough nights). Also now that she is crawling and pulling herself up to standing sometimes she lets out loud cries and then is crawling in the crib crying. It seems to be getting better after a few days. Could be so many things!

My DD is 7.5 months and definitely teething (she already has 2 teeth - the top teeth are ready to pop through) and she cries out throughout the night intermittently and then goes back to sleep. I'm guessing its teething -- have you given orajel or tylenol?

My sin had been the same way when he's teething. I bring him in my bed, it's all that works.
