What's the oldest car you've owned?
In number of years, what's the oldest (I'll do another one with model year, not age) car you've owned.
My current truck is almost 17 years old, and my car is 15. DW has a much newer vehicle.

My dad has my 2006 hyundai elantra. It definitely needs to be replaced in a year or so, but right now that little car is still going strong.
We had a 12 year old toyota avalon (LOVED that car) but the power seats got destroyed by Sandy and we needed to replace it.

We just recently got rid of our 2002 Honda Civic, it was 14 years old.
We currently have a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 (it'll be 10 yrs old in February) and a 2016 Toyota Highlander that we just got this past March.

What's the oldest car you've owned?
My SS's current car is a 2000 Buick - we bought it about 2 years ago. The oldest car I've owned for myself was probably 11 - 12 year old Buick I had as my first car while I was in HS

I had a 2001 Dodge Caravan until last year when the transmission went. Now I have 2015 CRV and DH has a 2013 Kia Soul.

What's the oldest car you've owned?
I've only leased. But In high school I took my parents old car which was 10 years old, kept it 2 years until I went to college and my. Either took it then and basically drove it into the ground. After I gratduated college I just can't be bothered to have a car that need work.

My current car is going to be 15 next month.. My dh drives a 14 year old car. Each only have 90k miles on them..He gave his other car to a family and that was 18 years old ( he bought it used from dealer). Most of the cars we get are first owned or owned only by other family members.

My first, 2nd and 3rd car are all tied at 8 years.
1st was a 91 Sentra, which was 6 years old when I bought it, had it until 1998
2nd was a Gold Saturn, also circa 92, got it in 1998 had it until 1999
3rd was the god awful Dodge neon I mentioned in your other post, got it in 1999 and replaced in 2007.
Ive leased since then.

12 years. I hate having a car payment so I pay them off and run them into the ground. Only reason I gave up my pick up truck was because I had my DD. So my Dad and I traded (I got his 2005 Trail Blazer--which we JUST got rid of). He kept it on the road 3 more years before getting a new truck for himself.
