Gianpiero is really Astoria-- and there are a bunch in Astoria.
If you're really looking for LIC- there aren't too many options-- we have Cannelle -- which is a French bakery and I think cakes need to be pre-ordered, but have heard they are awesome. Food Cellar has a great bakery-I believe you can order cakes there too. Sugarcube is new-- not sure if they have cakes.
