Northface or something just as good

I need a new winter coat.

Stylish, comfortable, warm when needed, not as warm when needed and water proof.

I got an LL Bean after much research
It had a higher down fill than the northfaces and was therefore rated warmer.
It was also a lot cheaper.
I can't say enough about it.

ETA- and it's very very light. It weighs nothing and is super packable, but it's insanely warm

Love my Northface winter coat. It's long and keeps me warm. I always get them from Nordstroms because they have the best customer service. I had a Northface of DS's for a year and it ripped. They took it right back and replaced it with a new one. Just look online if there are any sales when shopping because they'll price match.

I somehow got mine for approx 450!! I did ebates when it was super high cash back and I think bloomies had a 30% off sale. I refused to spend 800 on a coat and kept repairing a Zara coat year after year. Dh would get annoyed but when the final price was in the 4's, it was pure victory.

They had a sample sale last year and approx 500 ppl were lined around the block. No thanks !

Traveling with a Mackage is a pain in the assss! It's sooo big that in China last year I purchased a 30$ coat that was pretty warm and left the Mackage in the hotel the entire trip. I think that's the closest I've felt to traveling with an infant. What a pain!

Just in case you did not know and live ear Riverhead but there is a north face outlet opening there sometime this month.
