opinions needed on lamp shade
Hi all. I bought new lampshades for my bedside lamps, but I am not sure if they look ok. The old shade I had was square and a little bigger than these which is why I think it is throwing me off a little. I think that the longer I stare at them the better they start to look, but I wanted to ask the professionals... Do you think this looks ok or is it too small?
Also the plastic is still on them in case I decide to return them. Image Attachment(s):

This is the best I could get as the batteries just died in my camera. The dog had to turn around to face the camera or use my computer.  Also the endtables usually aren't quite so empty, but I have not unpacked everything yet. Image Attachment(s):

I think it looks great. It takes some getting used to, since you used to have larger lamp shades. Just center them on your night tables.

I think the lamps are too small for your headboard. Maybe you can try bigger lamp shades for the lamp.

Honestly - I think a little bigger would be better. But I don't think it looks horrible with what you got.
ps- not bedroom set - we have the same

I like the lamps and have the same ones in our guest room with a wrought iron headboard. I just think the shades look too small with the lamp stand.

The shades fit the small scale lamp posts well, but IMO I think the lamps themselves are too small for your nightstands. I think they should be wider and more substantial than just the wrought iron. The lamps are very pretty, but would look better on a smaller surface.

Thanks everyone! I am starting to agree that maybe the lamps themselves are too small with the headboard. I am going to see how it looks once I unpack a couple of my picture frames. And I am definitely going to center them

They are pretty, but I also think that they are a little small. But if you can't find anything else as pretty then they will work.

I like the color but I also think they are on the small side. I think they should hit right where the scroll work starts.

I like the lamps but agree you need a larger shade. That may give the illusion that the lamp is bigger than it is.
